Futuristic Library
Today a library is a place to borrow books and read or use a computer. How would it be like in future libraries? I am going to make a prediction about how libraries will be like in the future.
I have only been to Huntington Beach Library and Newport Beach Library. I have visited Huntington Beach Library from 2014-2016 ever since I moved, I stopped visiting Huntington Beach Library and I am still visiting Newport Beach Library because it is nearer (7minutes drive) to my new home.
In the future, libraries can be interesting. The roof would be made of solar panels. The library will be 4 stories and have a café. There will be help room with librarian. If you want a certain book, the librarian will make a hologram of it. You have to pick up a device that created the hologram, which releases information of the book to view. The library will have 10x’s more books than any of the library because hologram technology means there are endless possibilities.
There will be computer everywhere. My future library is 4 stories high, the bottom of the library will have only fiction books and computers. The second story of the library will be non-fiction and computers. The third story is a kids’ room. At the top there is a café. Finally the parking lot will be hovering into the clouds.
At night time there will be adult programs while the kids are sleeping. The programs will teach adults more about the world. They can read non-fiction books. They can use some computers. There will be a cooking program. They can learn to invest their money.
In the business program, they will tutor you information about starting your business. Examples of other adult programs include: how to be rich, quick ways to be rich, quick ways to learn, how to treat your child, how to make your child smarter, how to be useful, ways to get your kids to be useful, music/instrument lessons, art lessons, how to speak well, engineering courses, how to fix things, and future planning class.
This is my opinion of the future library. There will be holographic books, hovering parking lots, computers everywhere, and adult programs. I can’t wait for the future libraries to come to us.
