Happy Belt
What if there was a happy belt that when you touch you will be happy? Would you press it? The way it works is you wear it then if you flick the switch up you will be happy. If you flip it back down, you will be normal again. The happy belt and everything else costs $1000. The set comes with a belt and 10 happy batteries. To replace each battery it cost $50. Each battery lasts 2 months.
If this creation existed, I would never press it because I will always be happy forever. There are many other things I would rather do to be happy than flick a button. I would play to naturally be happy. It is so weird to be unnaturally happy. It is strange to be happy for no reason. I would rather come up with solutions to make my sadness and anger go away.
There are many more things I can do to make myself happier than the happy belt can do. For example, I can play, read, watch Netflix, play outside, and eat yummy foods. All these things make me happy and I don’t need a belt to do any of my favorite things.
Also all the things I want to do or eat that makes me happy is endless. This means I never run out of things I want to buy, play without try. There are endless things to watch on Netflix and YouTube. Whenever I see a toy at a store or smell yummy foods I will be happy. On the other hand, the happy belt costs money and it is limited by the battery power.
I can’t be happy for no reason. Even if I am sad and I press the happy belt, it won’t cheer me up forever. Netflix and my other favorite things will cheer me up for sure. These are the reasons why I don’t want the happy belts.
